Symptoms
Tongue: red, no coat, cracked Pulse: thready, wiry, rapid, floating-empty
Indications: Hypochondriac pain, 4 Smalls, Dry eyes, Eye pain, Eye floaters, Night blindness, Dry nails, Dry hair, Dry skin, Limb numbness and tingling, Dizziness, Insomnia, Aimlessness, Scanty menses, Amenorrhea, pale complexion, Red cheek bones [34] • dizziness, tinnitus; dry eyes, blurred vision; there are may have pain in the hypochondrium with burning sensation; tidal fever or low fever, feverish sensation in five center area, night sweating, trembling of hands and feet, red tongue with dry coating, a wiry, thready and rapid pulse [32] • Liver Yin Deficiency is LV Blood Deficiency + heat. First comes Blood Deficiency and then can turn into Yin deficiency with heat. Both have eye disorders. Early case can be normal tongue color with no coat, floating, empty. Later stages tongue turns red.[35]
