Commentary: This is a common formula for reducing the severity of the cardiovascular issues in China. Can also use this formula for patients with hiatal hernia. [Song]. Gua Lou drains phlegm through the bowels. Huang Lian drains heat from upper and middler jiao. Ban Xia transforms phlegm, harmonize Stomach, and redirect rebellious Qi.
