Indications: LOCATION: abdomen below the naval • SEVERITY: final stage • ORGANS/CHANNELS: Kidney and Liver • CLASSIFICATION: 1) Kidney Yin Deficiency 2)Liver Wind due to Yin Deficiency • SYMPTOMS: 1)KD Yin Xu: Lower grade fever in the afternoon, hot palms and soles, dry mouth, lassitude, dry black teeth, cracked lips, insomnia, irritable, dysentery, purplish deep red (crimson) tongue, pulse is big without root; In severe cases would be Yin Failure or Yang Failure 2) Liver Wind due to Yin Xu: limbs twitch and tremor, or spasm; palpitation, chest pain, irritable, unconsciousness, cold limbs, tongue and scrotal contraction, crimson and purple tongue, weak and rapid pulse [Qiao]
