ALERT: Contraindications of each herb - use with caution under these conditions:
Shan Zha: Large doses are contraindicated during pregnancy, as this can lead to fetal death.[21]
Shen Qu:
Lai Fu Zi: Pregnancy; Lai Fu Zi antagonizes Ren Shen (reduce it's tonifying effect). Same for He Shou Wu and Shu Di Huang. Strong dispersing action means prolonged or excessive use can consume Qi.[21].
