Etiology
This pattern can manifest due to a variety of factors. It may stem from inadequate production, influenced by elements like insufficient fluid intake, improper diet, or chronic illness, particularly when there is dysfunction in the Stomach and Spleen, resulting in a disorder in water metabolism. Furthermore, external factors like dryness or excessive heat can infiltrate the body, causing evaporation and depletion of body fluids. Conditions like profuse sweating, severe vomiting, bleeding, or diarrhea can also significantly diminish the volume of bodily fluids, leading to deficiency.[32]
