Pharma Drugs:Zhi Mu (rhizoma anemarrhenae) has been traditionally used in Eastern medicine for its potential health benefits, including reducing high blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Some studies suggest that Zhi Mu may have anti-diabetic effects, possibly due to its ability to enhance insulin sensitivity and improve glucose metabolism. Zhi Mu may interact with certain medications used to lower blood sugar levels, such as insulin and oral hypoglycemic agents. Zhi Mu may potentiate the effects of these medications hypoglycemia when taken in combination.[35]
