Xiao Ke(upper jiao) with plydipsia, excess Lung phlegm heat with dry mouth, dry tongue. Bai Hu Tang, Yu Nu Jian, Qing Wen Bai Du San.[35] ■ ZHI MU/HUANG BAI: Yin deficiency Heat: afternoon fever, steaming bones, and night sweat, seminal emission. Excessive sexual desire and easy erection due to deficient-Fire and hyperactive Mingmen-Fire. Dysuria due to Yin deficiency and to Yang losing its ability to transform. Some studies suggest that Zhi Mu may have anti-diabetic effects, possibly due to its ability to enhance insulin sensitivity and improve glucose metabolism. Zhi Mu may interact with certain medications used to lower blood sugar levels, such as insulin and oral hypoglycemic agents. Zhi Mu may potentiate the effects of these medications hypoglycemia when taken in combination.[35]
