KD14 is a meeting point of the Kidney channel and the Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel). The Chong Mai is known as the "Sea of Blood." Because it acts on the Chong Mai, KD14 is a vital point for regulating the Uterus and the Lower Jiao. It is specifically used to resolve Blood Stasis, treat masses (accumulations), and address menstrual disorders like amenorrhea accompanied by hard masses and pain.
