Midway between DU14 and the acromion, at the highest point of the shoulder [CAM] • Midway between DU-14 and the tip of the acromion, at the crest of the trapezius muscle. [42]
Needling
Type: Oblique    Depth:  0.5 to 1 cun
Description: Perpendicular 0.3-0.5 inch [CAM] • Posterior oblique insertion, 0.5-1 cun.[36]
Caution: Pneumothorax; Pregnancy
Notes
Energetics 1
Pain and rigidity of the neck, shoulder, and back. Insufficent lactation, mastitis, scrofula, apoplexy, difficult labor[CAM] • alleviate breast issues: breast abscess, poor breast milk flow, breast distention and pain[36]
