Notes
Very safe point. Good sensation. Moxa is good here. Relatively big point. RESOLVE PHLEGM: Dampness happens in a continuum. Moist is normal. Tissues need to be moist, then there's dampness, and there's phlegm. When moisture accumulates, we call it dampness. When dampness becomes more solid, it becomes phlegm. • Phlegm - 2 flavors: 1) Visible - vomit, sticky saliva, mucus, ovary cyst, nodules, goiters, swollen lymph nodes, plum pit qi, lypoma (all kinds of cysts. all kinds of nodules) Phlegm doesn't hurt. Seaweed can be used to soften nodules (salty things). Goiters are inflammation of the thyroid and seaweed are rich in iodine. 2) Invisible - Pyscho emotional disorders, depression, mania, insomnia. Idea is that people with emotional disorders are not fully in touch with the environment with the orifices/sensory organs. Phlegm heat harassing the heart, Phlegm misting the heart orifices • ST40 is to phlegm as LI-11 is to heat (no matter where it's coming from)
