| Directions: 1) Add all ingredients to pot except for Gui Jia Jiao (Gui Ban). 2) Add 5 cups of water. 3) [first pass] Boil until 1 cup of liquid remains (1.5-2 hours). 4) Strain the liquid into a large bowl and stir in the crushed Gui Ban until dissolved. 5) [second pass] Add 3 cups of water and boil until about 1 cup of liquid remains (~1 hour). Add strained liquid to brew. 6)[third pass] Add another 3 cups of water and boil until 1 cup of liquid remains (~1 hour). Add to mixture. 7) Let the brew cool, then refrigerate. • Dosage: 1/4 cup of brew mixed with hot water. 2X/day. Before meals. |
