Commentary: Created in the Ming dynasty for menstrual cramps. Ming dynasty was very conservative. When ladies smile, they must cover up the smile with their hands. The ladies were so happy to be relieved of pain that they suddenly smiled. • Wu Ling Zhi must be ground into powder and mixed with Pu Huang in equal dosage. Then the powder is washed down with Mi Cu(rice vinegar) and Huang Jiu (wine). This formula is usually paired up with other formulas. |
