Organ Pathologies

ORGAN DISORDER: borborygmus, flatulence, constipation, diarrhea, cough, asthma, abdominal pain, epigastric pain, belching, vomiting, thirst, too much/too little sweating, facial edema [42]

Primary Channel Pathologies

PRIMARY CHANNEL: Connects with LI, LU, enters lower gum. [42] • Epistaxis, watery nasal discharge, toothache, congested and sore throat; pain in the neck, anterior part of the shoulder and anterior border of the lateral aspect of the upper limb; borborygmus, abdominal pain, diarrhea and dysentery.[35] • Exterior syndrome: watery nasal discharge, toothache, Yangming headache, congested and sore throat. Epistaxis, neck pain, anterior part of the shoulder, and anterior border of the lateral aspect of the upper limb, borborygmus, abdominal pain, diarrhea and dysentery. facial paralysis, rashes, itchy skin, pain along the channel.[42]

Sinew Channel Pathologies

SINEW CHANNEL: pain, spasm, or stiffness along the channel. Neck and shoulder pain and movement difficulties.[42]

LUO Channel Pathologies

LUO CHANNEL (LI-6): connects to LU channel, jaw, teeth, and ear. Excess - tooth decay, gum disease, deafness. Deficiency - Cold tooth - sensitive; obstruction of diaphragm / obstruction of chest (stifling sensation) [42] • Toothache, deafness, a cold sensation in the teeth, and a stifling sensation in the chest and diaphragm.[35]

Divergent Channel Pathologies

DIVERGENT CHANNEL: separates from LI on the hand, ascends to LI15, travels medially to spinal column, crosses to supraclavicular fossa, descends to thorax, breast, LU, and LI [36] • LU/LI upper meeting point-LI18, LU/LI-lower meeting point ST12. [42]
