Symptoms
Tongue: pale, red on sides, normal, dry, thin, yellow coating, varies Pulse: thready, wiry, forceful
Indications: Liver fire symptoms, lower back pain, limb pain, headaches in temple, sides, and eyes, blurred vision, tinnitus, dry throat, insomnia, dry throat, dry mouth, anger management difficulties, dizziness, irritability, stiff neck. difference between Liver fire and Liver Yang Rising is that Liver Yang Rising has both excess and deficiency symptoms. [34] • Dizziness, tinnitus, distending pain the head and eyes, flushed face, congested eyes, vexation , lassitude in the loins and legs, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness, HEAVINESS IN THE HEAD, insomnia and dream disturb sleeping, amnesia, red tongue, wiry and rapid pulse [32]• Both LV fire and LV Yang Rising have red eyes, but LV fire has painful eyes. LV Yang Rising is based on Kidney deficiency so one would also see Kidney deficiency symptoms [35] • DISTENDING PAIN in the head and eyes, dizziness, and vertigo, “TOP-HEAVY” HEAD, excess above + deficiency below. Tendency to fall. KD and LV yin xu leading to liver yang rising. [32]
