Symptoms
Tongue: red tongue, dry, yellow coating Pulse: surging, large and rapid
Indications: High fever, profuse sweating, thirst with a preference for cold water, aversion to heat, a red face, red eyes, irritability restlessness, scanty dark urine, constipation, bleeding, a red tongue, dry, yellow coating, and a surging, large and rapid pulse. • Different types have corresponding symptoms –Heat congestion in lung –Heat impairing chest and diaphragm –Heat stagnation in gallbladder –Excess heat in the stomach –Heat in the Stomach and intestine –Damp-heat stagnation [Qiao]
